Established in 1991, Bristol Stained Glass Ltd has a rich heritage of stained glass renovation together with the design and creation of bespoke pieces tailored to individual customers needs. Our work covers ecclesiastical commissions and traditional leaded light windows through to contemporary leaded lights for the home.
Our aim is to create stained glass that looks great, that our customers love, and that sits comfortably within the character of it's surroundings of whatever period. Creating, for example, a traditional stained glass lead light front entrance in a Victorian home that looks as if it has always been there is both fantastic and rewarding for us.

Initially, it is important to concentrate on design and not too much on glass. Colours and textures are more easily chosen when we have produced an actual sized drawing of your design.
One of our founders, Craig Turner, has extensive experience having started a five year apprenticeship back in 1980 with the renowned Bristol glaziers James Clark & Eaton Ltd. During his apprenticeship, whilst working under the tutelage of the highly respected stained glass artist, Roy Coomber, Craig began to accumulate a breadth of knowledge and technical prowess within the stained glass field. Craig is sympathetic to the needs of conservation and his work has seen him travel throughout the UK working on many Grade Listed buildings. One of these commissions involved working under the master craftsman, Peter Gibson at York Minister, where Craig helped to restore some of the world famous stained glass windows in the Minister.
